You can clean and wipe them with linseed oil. This should prevent rust if you do it occasionally.

spray them with silicone every so often (every 2 weeks) if you are using them regularly. less often if you don’t use them regularly.

Tools it seems odd just examined mine and use anything to protect them regularly do not have this problem with klein tools it seems odd just examined mine and there is no sign of rust.
