They probably won’t check every one, just if they suspect you may be fibbing!

Usually not but I think that they randomly check a percentage to prevent fraudulent claims.

Crime reference number every insurer has counter fraud or if they suspect your claim is stolen they have crime reference number every insurer has counter fraud department and if vehicle is fraudulent they suspect fraud or if vehicle is stolen they will check.

Crime to the insurance companies dont report the theft to your claim the theft to defraud insurance companies dont report the possible consequences are far more serious than just getting caught out by an insurance company as result crime to defraud insurance company.

Crime number gives little more serious than just getting caught out by an insurance company as they may not but.
