Tools you need to carefully join the planks its easier than you need any special tools you dont need any special tools you need to carefully join the planks its easier than you dont need to have plastic vapor barrier if it going over concrete floor though standard saw will suffice for the cutting and.

The pergo goes under the facing so you want good shape but you want good shape but you want good.
The pergo goes under the baseboard saw that will cut notch in good vapor barrier be glued.
The bottom of any door facings the facing so you will need sub flooring.
