My husband got his green card a few months ago and I want the divorce. Is this going to affect his application for citizenship?
Thank you!

One of the 2 requirements to apply for citinzenship is have 3 years with a Green Card and remain married with an US citizen. I fall in that category, by my quesiton is after applying for Citizenship…starting the divorce paperwork…That won’t affect my application with inmigration?
I checked USCIS already is nothing there…
Thanks!

This is a serious question! I really don’t know and I’m looking for statistics.

Personally I think that illegal aliens probably have a higher crime rate than the US average but not much higher when you account for income and geography.

If I was an illegal than I would try to be as honest as I could because I don’t want any contact with the police or legal system if I can help it.

I think that is a reasonable attitude so I think that many illegals think the same too.

What do you think?

Like a hit and run accident or other crimes? What does one look for in newspaper articles with crime and illegals? Are there any key words to look out for?
How about having no driver’s license and no insurance either?
